Wildcat

They grow up so fast! Finally let the cat outside unsupervised last week. Since then he spends some hours each day outdoors eating grass, sniffing things, eating bugs, sniffing Bow Tie, eating dirt, etc.

Lately he looks brown and gray, rather than white. When he comes back from a foray he flops just over the threshold and lies panting from Vegas heat, exertion, or a combination of the two.

It's a pity, now that he's had a taste of freedom, that he'll fly back to Chicago with me in 8 days to be pent up in a tiny studio.
