Life could be worse. Exciting new city, cute new apartment, big new adventures.
Shopped for suits yesterday - not exactly a pick-me-up. I may have the fashion know-how for dating, living etc. but for the legal profession? It's a whole new world. I'm told I'll have to get rid of the highlights and remove the nose ring :( All the more incentive to make a name for myself fast, earning the autonomy to dress business-creatively rather than business-cookie-cutter-formal.

Alas, those "serious iterviews" begin as early as December first year, and only get more serious by second year.
Isn't it odd how we resist these seemingly insignificant changes in the face of big and exciting new opportunities. As though a nose ring is as valuable as realizing my fullest potential as an attorney.
